Machine Information
The Metabo HPT NR83AA5M (formerly HItachi) air-powered framing nailer drives clipped head paper tape strip nails from 2" to 3-1/4" in length, and offset round head paper strip nails from 2" to 3-1/4" in length. This paper tape framing nailer comes with a five-year professional warranty for peace of mind. Lightweight and well-balanced, this Metabo framing nailer is easy to maneuver, and capable of driving into the toughest materials.
Relying on the same cylinder valve drive system as the original Hitachi NR83AA from the 1980's, the NR83AA5 offers rapid response firing - paired with some serious driving power for quick and consistent sinking. Standard features on the NR83AA5M include a selective action trigger, to switch between contact and sequential operation, as well as a rear loading aluminum magazine, open nose design, hardened claw tip (to reduce wear and drive nails at different angles), rafter hook, tool-free depth adjustment, and a comfortable rubber grip.
With the selective actuation now located on the trigger, the NR83AA5M not only reduces the total number of parts in the trigger, but also eliminates all composite parts. The Metabo HPT NR83AA5M is intended for applications including framing, sheathing, truss building, sub-flooring, decking, fencing and pallet assembly.
